    Hi, dudes... i have a Boos GT-6, an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with 2x Alnico Pro II pickup... iīm trying to get Slash(GNR) tone !!!! What amp should i get for that purpose???

    Definatley a tube marshall, He used marshall silver jubillee which if I'm not mistakin was a 25th anniversary model jcm800. Pretty much any marshall with el34s will get you very close unless your really picky you could hunt for a slash signiture amp on ebay.

      If you want that sound from your Boss GT-6, play through the Plexi patch 1959SLP using the 1+2 inputs. Set your gain around 75%, basss around 65%, mids at 50%, treble at 50%, and presence at around 30%. Use the mic distance control and set the mic on centre of the speake while using a Brit 4x12 spearker cab model. Oh, yeah, Master Volume should be around 70-80%. Roll back the tone knobs on your axe and you should be very close.
