I read a post on here last night saying the vintage rails was too low output to even match the hot/cool rails set. Matching that to a Custom and Jazz may not work (assuming that post I read was reliable).
Maybe a Cool Rails to go with the Custom and Jazz?

That would work too......and my first thought was Cool Rails middle.
You may need to try a few middle pickups to find the best notch positions.
I still think a Custom/Jazz would be great in a Jem.
