  • Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Show 'em if you got 'em. Lots of folks on here seem to be picking up a Tele and it's been awhile since we've had a guitar show off thread. I believe the last one was an LP one, so now time to show off the BETTER single cutaway electric!

If you've done mods on yours and have before/after shots, feel free to throw those in. I love seeing what people do to their axes to make them their own and how the end product varies from the starting point.

Here's mine ('04 MIM Fender w/ GFS pups and '99 MIK Squier w/ Phat Cat):

Cheers to all those guitfiddlers wise enough to rock a Tele!

Here's a pic of my Telecaster, it's not very exciting I'm afraid!

It's a cheapie Gould Telecaster, korean made, with a Poplar body and (what I think is) a nice maple neck.

The neck pickup on it sounded horrid, and as I've never been that big a fan of Tele neck pickups, I decided to go for a single bridge pickup and Master volume/tone controls.

It's currently got 500K colume and tone pots, a Bareknuckle Piledriver broadcaster style pickup and a custom scratchplate made by Feline Guitars of Surrey, as I couldn't get a regular scratchplate to fit it.

Here is my 2005 (I think...can't remember how long I've had this beast) Highway One. I've changed the tuners, guardplate, saddles, pots, switch, jack, jack cup, and Custom Shop Duncans...it was a good guitar when I bought it but it's an amazing guitar these days...this is an old shot, I'll have to take a few new ones showing all the wear...these HW1 finishes are real thin...makes for nice natural relic jobs!

Here is my MIM 50's Esquire (Sittin pretty with my Mission Amps 5B4 V Front amp and original EP-3 Echoplex)...this one got new electronics, saddles and a Joe Barden pickup...it's a true killah!

        Enjoy!!!

These are nice but wait...I've got a new project in the works thats for sure gonna be an amazing piece! I'll be posting begining pics of her soon...
If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!

                    here's mine.

1959 replica, voodoo bridge pickup, duncan antiquity neck pickup. the bridge just screams and the neck pickup is nice and round but very articulate.

Well, nobody seems to like it whenever I post it, but I love it, one of my best players. Just a shortscale mahogany Warmoth with a Gibby pickup and a chopped vintage Tele bridge.

Started life with an SM-3 mini and a vintage strat hardtail, hated it, much better now.

Just got this one, still getting to know her

Those are some great looking guitars you've all been posting.

Pretty sweet looking for a gloried plank of wood

I'm hoping to get a black tele with white binding (nothing looks cooler on a tele) sometime this year so hopefully this thread will still be going
