/\ Yeah, I took the LSAT this last saturday. Good to hear you got a hotel stay out of it

And great answers. I'll probably have some weird questions for you as I become more taken by the alcohol as the night goes on...

What's up with the potatoes? Mashed, or slices or what?

I've never heard of that, but it sounds awesome.

        from wikipedia...

"In the case of New Jersey's potato dog, diced and stewed potatoes are combined with brown mustard and served on spicy brand hot dog. A variant on this (particularly in the Trenton area) is also known as the "Italian hot dog", which features all of the above ingredients, with grilled onions and peppers, and served on a long, crusty roll."

and im from the trenton area, so there you go. never heard of it with onions though, but thats probably cause my entire family (and myself) don't like onions at all. so its just a given we're not gonna have em on the hot dog.

Since you're an ex-250, what does that make you now?

Re: The Well XLIII - Free press for Ripper, sweet!

im gonna guess that youre asking where i got the name from. cause...that was worded kinda wacky.

shortly after i started playing, probably 2 or 3 months, i went to sam ash for the hell of it. while i was there i played an LTD ex-250, which isnt made anymore. i really really wanted that guitar, and around that time i started going on forums and needed a name. so i picked ex-250. as time passed, a couple people on one board talked me into pursuing the superior ex-351 (which is the current ex-400 without the fancy pickups & hardware), so i did. eventually i got one (after a lotta hassle trying to find one in stores, i just ordered it), but by then my name had already just stuck. so i didnt change it.

its my name on absolutely everything. various band forums, here, youtube, myspace, soundclick, webshots, photobucket, etc. the list goes on. i just...stuck.

What is the worst guitar tone on an album you like .You can choose seperately Rhythm and Lead.
Please don't give answers with any Hammet in it ,since that's too easy heheh.

the entire band's sound on "peace sells." it just kills me. its just bad in all the wrong places. it makes venom and the misfits sounds good by comparison (both of which have really awful production but it doesnt bother me in the least and i actually like it in that context)

also scott ian's tone is super mushy and scratchy on stomp 442. i dont mind it listening to it, but then i switch to something else and its like "woah....punch? definition? i forgot those existed"

im honestly extremely satisfied guitar-wise right now. my new V is all my hopes and dreams fulfilled and then some. and ive never been picky about amps. so im gonna say...

-megavibe (or any other high-end vibe pedal)- i just can justify blowing $300 on a pedal
-upgraded recording software. ive been running on n-track i got like 6 years ago and recently looked into something crazy like protools, but **** that stuff is pricey beyond belief. i may go for cubase 4 essential edition, but im starting to get apprehensive about having a new interface to get used to.
-some kind of plug-in amp modeling thing, something better than my POD. that stuff is ridiculously expensive too.

I don't agree on chic answers but that's another story

And my question with "toys" was faaar more than just music gear.

music stuff is really the only thing i spend any money on anyhow.

except around this time of year, actually. im pretty obsessed with halloween, so i think a good addition to the "toys" questions is just a ton of big elaborate halloween decorations and stuff.

as far as chicks go, i definitely have my established tastes- athletic brunettes & redheads. ...yet ive been going out with a busty blonde for almost 2 years now. all comes down to what takes the least effort.

For starters, that cover is awesome.

If you could have one super power what would it be?

Who is your favorite character you read about or saw?

Who is your favorite character you know?

What would you say your greatest musical discovery has been that is directly related to this forum?
