Re: lets see those super strats!!

most of you guys have seen them all before but what the heck i'll whore them out once again LOL. here are the ones i have left...well, most of them, a few aren't done yet so i have no pics of them...

this one is FOR SALE (cheap plug lol)

i pretty much have a 1 track mind, i know what works for me in a guitar so i stick with it with slight changes here and there. sure i have les pauls and other stuff but it's not like they get much play time. charvel and charvel style guitars are where it's at for me!

Well, it's my first Floyd, and the body is Mahogany yet it's still a bit brighter than I'd ultimately prefer. BUT, that makes me play differently as well. I really get into the 80's type riffs and Van Halen-esque playing with that guitar, while the black one (EMG 85, Drop C, thicker neck) really gets my metal riffing going.

I was thinking about trying out a JB instead of the PAF Pro, but that might make it even brighter. I wonder if something like a Fred or Breed would work out on it? I like the level of output, very dynamic, but a little thicker would be great for this specific guitar. Then again, it is a pretty cool vibe right now.
        Oh no.....

        Oh Yeah!

In what way is that a Maiden strat? No offence, I just don't see the connection?

Floyd and a humbucker in the bridge? Most definitely! Looks like a nice USA Customs neck on it, too.

How's this? 2 SSL-1s and a Brobucker, callaham trem, onyx forge stainless steel insert kit, luxe caps, LSR nut, 5 springs decked and clamped bridge... it's a "vintagey superstrat!" (Do vintage-aimed superstrats count?)
