Eventually, I'll have the exact percentages and other features as part of the applet. As I said, it's pretty much a rough draft.

    Your compatibility rating is 54.4%.

For posterity, my list was, IIRC...
      1) Abbey Road-The Beatles
      2) Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band- The Beatles
      3) Who's Next-The Who
      4) Let it Be-The Beatles
      5) Nevermind-Nirvana
      6) Ten-Pearl Jam
      7) Revolver-The Beatles
      8) Live at Leeds-The Who
      9) Who Are You-The Who
      10)Are You Experienced-Jimi Hendrix.

If you can, could you tell me my percentage, Sir Keith, Knight of the Sound Table.

I can't believe I forgot about Surfer Rosa (or Bossa Nova) when making my list. One thing this has shown me: if I were stuck on the proverbial desert island, I'd want more than ten albums with me.

I wonder if the same person picked Danger Danger. I mean come on Danger Danger? This is as bad as the Sleez Beez or Dangerous Toys. Let's out them now lol.
Hey - they said YOUR favorite. This isn't a critical critique of the work; It's what you like. Now, there is still good taste, and anyone that thinks Blow My Fuse is better than Midnight Dynamite is just plain tragic.

And while I did no vote for the Sleeze Beez, dangerous Toys, Teaze, Armoured Saint, and any of a dozen others - if they are your fave, more power to ya! Incidentally, I love all of those!

I think it is interesting to look who is in your compatibility cohort. Those of us in the purple are some independent thinkers. The greens look like a bunch of classic rock old farts.

Has the compatibility chart been published/linked to?

BTW: I'm surprised you know who T'Pau is, much less listed them as one of your top 10. I would have never guessed that from a rock and roll guy like you, but on the other hand I've always thought musicians in general have wide-ranging tastes in music.

I think I'll list my top ten but I really want to write up why I like them, and I don't have time right now.

While you were the only person to vote for Bloody Kisses and Trouble, one other person voted for California.
I was curious about where Radiohead stacked up on the list. To me they belong in a big way, but this is a classic rock board for the most part. My taste in music is mostly for classic rock also, but I also have a taste for "the weird" as my girlfriend calls it. How many votes did Morphine get?

I'm certainly not a classic rock old fart. I just like what everyone else here likes.

I think Collective Soul's self-titled second album should have made the top 100.

thats a pretty awesome list, although i think only about two of my favorites are on it.

nice work... i dont think i would have ever been able to do that math.

I was surprised Nevermind scored so lowly. As everyone has said it shows the Demographic here there is only a few pop albums and alot of classic rock/metal albums. That said I own the top ten and other then Van Halen listen to those albums quite regulery
