Diocletian, I am sensing by your posting you are upset.

    Just call me sherlock.

There isn't much on Keith's list I wouldn't listen to.

I also have to 2nd Keith's call for non-voting complainers, even though I have NO CLUE who they are.

PS. I totally forgot to add a Judas Priest album. I would have had a lot more from that list if it was extended to a top 20.

The 60-80's were strong because those decades were all about the complete album. Something that is almost completely gone in the modern era.

my top one didn't even make the list! you heretics! hahaha

        1) Steely Dan "Aja"
        2) Eric Clapton "live in hyde park"
        3) Eric Clapton 24 nights
        4) Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood"
        5) SRV live at el mocambo
        6) The Who "Tommy"
        7) The Who "Who's Next"
        8) Dream Theater "live scenes from new york"
        9) Metallica Master of Puppets
        10) Metallica Black Album

these were definitely the most influential to me, i remember watching the Eric Clapton and SRV DVD's and playing along to them, (which was a lot of times my practice!), i guess my dad was a patient father

well that was interesting. two of mine made it, and two that I gave honorable mention to made it. guess metal church's "the dark" isn't too popular 'round these parts, hehe.

I see ...... so I wonder how many and which albums listed as #1 on contributors' lists received only one vote.
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion, but carry on. There's quite a few of my favourite albums included in the top 100.

Thanks for compiling this top 100 and bottom list Keith!

Any way you could just list 101 - the end?

I'm happy to see most of mine made it, expect for

That is an awesome list. Lot's of representation from AIC, Tool, and Metallica. A lot of the stuff from the '60s, '70s, and '80s I don't listen to very much, but that whole list makes a lot of sense to me.

The only albums I have by Crue is Dr Feelgood, a few live albums and a greatest hits, so didn't really have much choice!
