Excellent list. I have all that and I forgot about the ealier Uli Roth Scorpions. I would agree with everything except the Lynch Mob as to me they were more hair metal than regular metal which Dokken was.

PM me your email address and I'll send it to you as an Excel spreadsheet. (For the sake of anonymity, I won't include individual user names in that spreadsheet.)

That goes for anyone else who's interested.

Ok someone here picked Kix-Blow My Fuse as their #1 pick? Granted I saw them live once, but someone other than the guys in the band would think their music was the best or most favorite? I bet the guys in the band don't really even care for their music.

I wonder if the same person picked Danger Danger. I mean come on Danger Danger? This is as bad as the Sleez Beez or Dangerous Toys. Let's out them now lol.

No, they picked it as their #10. That's a list of #10s, not #1s.

How many hair metal albums made the top 10? How many votes for hair metal albums in the top 10?

Are you asking how many people put at least one hair metal album on their individual top 10 lists?

the Pixies made the top 100? . . . so there are a few other indie rock snobs on the SDUGF

the number of Pink Floyd fans scares the hell out of me though . . .
even if you grew up in the 1970s and took lots of recreational drugs, there is no reason to still be listening to Floyd

                    1) Total number of votes for any or duplicate entries of hair metal albums.
                    2) Total unique hair metal albums voted for.

Tell me how you define "hair metal," and I can get that information for you.

Stoner Rock and Stoner Metal are interchangeable terms describing sub-genres of rock and metal music. Stoner rock is typically slow-to-mid tempo, low-tuned and bass-heavy. It incorporates elements of Psychedelic Rock, Blues-Rock and Doom Metal into a more repetitive and riff-centred style. Melodic vocals and 'retro' production are also common traits.
