Well, I'd have to say I'm honoured that such a quick liking was taken to me. Though it may have something to do with my gender.

That's why I said it depends on the fianceé. I mean... if you're just trying to get her into anime, I'd suggest starting with something lighter. Midori no Hibi, or possibly The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya. Something cute, romantic, easy to attach to. Don't bust out with Higurashi on a first encounter. All that exists is a product of conception. Without a conceived idea, manifestation would not occur. This of course lends to a religious debate, which I will ignore for the purposes of this question, but it helps to know that someone had to be there first. Just like... the signs on wood chippers that say "Don't stick your body parts here."

The rents are pretty traditional people. As such, they have developed a sort of stability in their lives that I can only dream of. I'd like to be stable when I'm older and ready to settle in.

I remember in middle school, there was this guy I sort of liked. We started dating, and after the end of the school year, I never saw him again. Two years later I met his sister, and we hit it off in a big way. Some of my fondest memories of childhood are of playing games and music with her, and running around shopping and all that girly stuff.

Forgive my abstract response here, but I didn't really know myself five years ago, and I hated it. It's only been in the last couple of years that I've really started to come into myself as a person, and I like who I am now, and who I'm becoming.

Five years ago, as some know, was a dark time for me. But there was always the occassional ray of light that peeked through the darkness, and one of these rays of light was my aunt. She and I were the best of friends (as she was only two years older than me). Unfortunately, we had a very strong falling out and I no longer associate with her. I wish she were still around.

Five years into the future will be a magical time for me. I will be out of the Army at the end of 2013, and will immediately be enrolling at Full Sail University in Florida. I hope to obtain a MS in Game Development and work for a good gaming company, or perhaps even start my own.

what led you to join the army?

A few things. I wanted to go back to school and the Army is pretty much going to be paying for it by the time I get out. Secondly, it's a nice way to meet new people and get life/job experience. I'm an E-5 in charge of five soldiers and I'm holding an E-7 slot. ~shrug~

More importantly, though, I look hot in a beret.

Subarashiki Kono Sekai was... interesting. I mean, it really felt like Chain of Memories all over again, but with pins. Overall, it was pretty good, but I play games mostly for story. That's why FFVII is the best game ever made. ~nodnod~
