  • simul-class?

So as you all know, I bought and received a mesa boogie Mark V a couple weeks ago.
I'm interested in running the amp with EL34 tubes, just to experiment and see how it sounds. the boogie site said that I can run EL34's in the two outside spots, but does that mean that the bias switch has to be set for 34's or what?
would i be running power wattage settings differently for different channels?

    thanks for the help

    Jim

i read through it a couple times. It's clear that the bias switch should be set for the tubes in use...but i've just heard different things around, that i could put them on the two outside tubes...

idk, it's not too much of a problem...i don't even have any el34's
