im in a huge hurry to get out the door right now, i just threw some temporary rhythm guitars on, ill probably change em later. i was gonna set up a yahoo address to send all these to and put the password on here, but i just dont have time. so heres yousendit.

*edit- just listened in the car...im definitely redoing those guitars. haha
**edit2- the tone is growing on me. ugly to the point of sounding cool, which is what i was going for. ill be rerecording em anyhow, that was just a quick temporary one, i want the final to be more in time with the bass than that

If you're REALLY desperate I can lay down a guitar track or two.

yo yo yo, I gots a solo for ya! was just goofin' round tonight, thought I'd share...it's pretty noisy and such; sloppy playing, etc.

                i like it!

one thing though, i'd like to have the solo start after its just the bass riff twice, so right where you start the more melodic line is where itd start overall

this will explain it better than i can- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-7bQ1SI3wk#t=1m34s

you can just cut that very beginning part and itd fit perfectly actually. i just like having that part where its just the bass first.

*edit- on second thought, i like the intro thing where it is. so nevermind.

cool, whichever ya like! I might be able to think up somethin' better, and hopefully more peeps will give it a go, perhaps they'll have something better too.

edit: or, perhaps someone can figure out a better lead-in on the first two bars?

oh - were you looking for someone to copy BTO's solo? I'm no good at that.

Am I doing something wrong here, or is this song like over 40 megs in size?

Dankstar, that solo was cool, totally fitted the vibe, and put me off even attempting anything! (Although I will if I don't need to download and work with a 40 meg file!)

glad you dug it; please still give a whirl if you want, this ain't a contest! yeah, it's a wav file of the tune, so it's pretty large.

yeah its wav. my recording program doesn't accept mp3s, i didnt know if everyones was like that. figured why convert to mp3 if youre just gonna have to convert it to wav again.

I spent some time trying to do an little solo for the end of the song earlier, but I'm struggling like hell to stay within the "70's" type sound. Nothing I've come up with sounds like what I'm aiming for (Tony Iommi!), I've tried two different guitars.
I've got something now that I quite like but it's really sloppy so I'll try and learn it so I can tighten it up.

Cool song BTW! Are you gonna add vocals? Everdrone's the man for this!

Since I liked Dank's solo I thought I'd do something else, so here's a little outro solo. Ended up using my Epi Black Beauty - A2Pro bridge/Phat Cat middle combo for it, worked way better than what I'd tried before.
