5 way super switch and 4 pickups

I have a set of Lace Hemi Humbuckers a Fender Super 5 way switch 1 Vol and 1 Tone and want to wire them like this HN, Outer Coils, HH, Inner Coils, HB. The pickups are really like 4 single coil pickups mounted on two so they look like humbuckers 2 starts 2 finishes 2 grounds. I have tried every diagram I could find on the internet including the six at guitarelectronics.com. I have spent about 13 hours wiring, triple checking my work and rewiring but all diagrams I have found are flawed in some way positions not working ect. The color code is N start Orange, N finish White, S start Orange/black, S finish White/black. the grounds are both green. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I checked it. Using the 5 way Super Switch to tap and combine coils is where I have the problem.

black wire become orange

Green/bare becomes whiteblack/green

red/white become white/orangeblack


1) remove that jumper
separates the top and bottom rows

2) hot from volume to top row ( dotted line )
makes top row for outer coils

3) move split function pair from position 4 to position 2
as your lace arent layed out like the seymours this will align the outer coils
together

4)ignore 4 I dont know what i was pointing at
DOH!!

5) make jumper from bottom row position 2 to top row position 4 >dark purple

6) make jumper from bottom row position 4 to top row position 2 >lighter purple

these purple jumpers will cross and align the inner coils in position 2


let me know what happens

you may have to swap hot and ground on the right commons
as I may have got inner and outer mixed up

Two Humbuckers with Multipole 5-way Switch EP1112
Introduction:
This diagram provides the three classic humbucker sounds: neck (position 1), neck & bridge
(position 3) and bridge (position 5), with the addition of two "Fender-like" sounds: a Tele-like
tone with the outside coils in parallel (position 2) and a Strat-like tone with the inside coils in
parallel (position 4). All five positions are hum canceling. Because the 2 and 4 positions select
single coils from each pickup and connect them in parallel, they will have less volume than posi-
tions 1, 3 and 5, which select coils wired in series. The amount of volume-drop in positions 2 and 4
will depend on the specific pickup models that are installed.
Technical notes:
A standard 5-way switch does not have the capability to get these combinations. The switch -
shown in the diagram is a multipole switch (DiMarzio EP1112). There are many other 2 hum-
bucker variations possible with this type of switch. Resistance value of the controls is a matter of
taste, but 500 Kohm is a good starting point for most pickup combinations and .022 μfd is the
basic recommended value for the tone control capacitor.
