cool tune. not sure I'm 100% sold on the snare sound & level, but that's a personal thing. (when hit, it seems to go on forever like a "splash" - perhaps that's what you were going for) great solo!

I have snare issues because of all the overall compression on my master, and that I dont know Superior 2.0 that well. I chose the "sandpaper" preset for the mixing of the snare, at :36 you can hear the snare separated from the cymbal, its not that great compared to normal metal recordings, I wish it sounded like this snare in Down song:

not sure how to do that...I messed around with it just now; If I chose other settings it would sound way too fatiguing like a spike in a sea of compression
