        Nope, it clearly state the price is Per Tube. Of course, it also says that matched pairs are available. Good luck getting more than one pair out of three tubes.

                          well it says west germany as well which might have something to do with it. made in the USSR era, I reckon, which means they are old, people think 'wow' and want one, instantly putting the price through the roof.

                            Telefunken 803S is a tremendous valve ... at $300, I wouldn't think twice about buying one for the V1 slot of an amp. At $600, it would be a 'sell some of my Mullards to finance' kind of thing. At $1300 ... that's pretty nuts!!
