  • A live-clip with me playing a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion

Somewhat jazzy, at a freejazz festival in Sweden recently. It´s a duo with the drummer Peeter Uuskyla, who has been playing and recorded with Cecil Taylor and Peter Brötzmann - among others. I play a Howard Roberts trough the tweed Fender Blues Deville, which can be seen behind me in the clip. I only use the stock neck pickup: a Gibson 490R. Quite nice sustain in that guitar, I must say.

Stefan Thorpenberg, guitars - here a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion. Peeter Uuskyla, drums.

That axe really does sound nice! That kind of jazz is not my thing but that was a good jam. Cheers from east!

Thanks. Well, our music is not the middle of the road, but things develop.
