    lol...

Anywho this is just a room mic with some eq and light verb thrown on top...one take with vox and guitar at the same time...

I like it...the lyrics are solid in my opinion, it has the right feel

Re: Just me, my guitar, and my beatiful voice

    Lyrics:
My debts are hanging on the wall
    Well I'll stay more minute
    overdrawn
    But I'm trying to change
yes I'm trying to change it

    Visions bleed through my mind
    Piercing through this red disguise
Don't take me for someone I'm not

    Well when it takes you
    when it takes you
    I'll have no fear
    for
the black hole in my soul has
    been drawing me near
    for years

    and bit by bit
    I've been negativing myself into
    nothing at all
    and byte by byte
    I've eaten away at
never mind its nothing at all
never mind its nothing at all

never mind its nothing at all
never mind its nothing at all

Well I sat there looking at the crimson moon
    well these one way conversations
    always end too soon

You should try tracking guitars and vocals seperately guitar is quiet compared to you. I like it over all though

lol, I was thinking about that but that would require a metronome and god only knows how that goes

I'll take a stab at it...I'm pretty happy with this take overall I guess...it feels right to me

It would be easy to do separate tracks. Set up your amp in another room with it's door closed, and close mic it. Sit in the room with your vocal mic and headphones on. Sing it the same way you did here, and you'll have separate tracks.

Anyway, it's a great rainy-day feel. Good stuff.

The longer you keep playing and singing during recording, your recordings will keep getting more honest and have a sense of "realness" that tracking separately doesn't convey. I see no reason to change what you are doing.

Actually, that track sounds pretty darned good and would sound amazing with some good old fashioned mastering style processing to bring out some timbral qualities that would make this track sound like night and day.

Nice work Cream, I really dug it.
