    LOL - My first band covered that song. It's probably the second or third song I ever learned on guitar. First time I've heard it mentioned by anybody else.

        Well RJ's take is a little different but he's such a great guitar player I just wanted to share it. He's relatively unknown since he's predominantly a sideman/studio guitarist but he was in Chelsea Smiles so some folks might know him from there.
        I wasn't particularly familiar with the song other than having heard it a few times in my life so I had no attachment to the original plus I freaking love that whacky Stradette.

        Eddie Bertrand from The Bel-Airs was a righteous guitarist, passed away earlier this year from cancer unfortunately, he was pretty much the guy that defined the surf guitar sound.
