  • Downhill with No Brakes (another tune from my solo album)

This is souper rough.. I stuck in a random meedly meedly solo in there just for sh!ts n giggles. Might have another lead line somewhere, but I don't know where yet. I also might extend the end bit and add another part.

Tried to go for more of a brash Marshall-esque sound with the guitars this time, instead of the thick, warm Soldano sound I was using before. Also I'm REALLY not happy with the tone on the lead... sounds way too thin

lmao while I appreciate the sentiment, I really wish you had a different visual to communicate it

hehe glad you like it. Most of the album is pretty fun rocking tunes, except for a couple slower more moody ones.

Well that was rockin - where did you draw inspiration for that little toe tapper? Dig the bass and solos.

haha i honestly don't know...one of my friends thought it sounded like a mixture of Clutch and ZZ Top.

Which is strange because I don't really listen to either of them!

I just like blues and metal, and I'm finding that most of the material for this album is coincidentally falling sorta in between those two.
