Recording with a Macbook

I have recently made the plunge into the world of the Mac.

My laptop was goosed and a large factor in converting me to the Mac way of life was the ability to record my band/Solo stuff. I have Logic Pro installed.... now what???

Does anybody have any information or advice with regard to which good/best/cheapest/easiest to use interface etc?
