This tune was a wonderful chance to experiment with effects boxes, plugin effects, amp modeling software, guitar tones, and textures.
The heavy parts and the low-tuned arpeggiated clean part are a Buckethead signature model Les Paul Studio. The melody and harmonies near the end are also the Buckethead Les Paul Studio.
The ambient/textural guitar parts are my MJ Groovemaster.
The melody was the Les Paul on the neck pickup into a BBE Freq Boost and a Green Rhino, and my 6505+ and XXX speaker cab.
The clean down tuned arpeggio is the Les Paul through a BBE Soul Vibe and into a Soldano SLO and Orange Rockerverb 200 (in stereo) preset in Amplitube.
Effects used on the textural parts included a Way Huge Aqua Puss, Hard Wired Chorus, Morpheus Capo (set to an octave up - you don't hear the dry part, just the reverb, which is from the Eventide Black Hole plugin) and Pigtronix Philosopher King.
