Revalver smokes all the other amp sims, especially once you start tweaking the amps' internals and using 3rd party IRs.

Revalver MkIII.V is good, but I prefer the sound of the LePou plugins, which are free... http://lepouplugins.blogspot.com
Couple these with cabinet and mic IRs from the likes of Redwirez http://www.redwirez.com and you will have a great sounding and versatile virtual setup. No effects, but great for straight amp sounds. Especially good for those on a budget.

Go check my song No One Wants To See You. It's in the first page of tips & clips. I used LePou plugins with ReValver as an impulse cab for the whole song. The sounds are quite good IMHO.
GRs are quite garbage if you ask me. LePou is free and miiiiiiles ahead of GR and ReValver is awesome too.Last edited by P.A.Foholic; 01-23-2013, 01:47 PM.Burny RLG-60, Baton Rouge AR81C/GACE
