Yeah, Godins get a lot of respect here. I dig them, and they seem to have their own thing going on.

      Re: Godin users unite

I played a Godin Velocity years ago.. I was really impressed with the quality and features especially the HDR (revoicer), the mini push button format was really neat. Does anyone know any aftermarket onboard preamp equivalent to the HDR?

I am still looking at a few of their archtops as possibly my next guitar. The problem is there is no way to try them, so I have to mail order them, and try them out for a month before I decide to keep one.

Haven't even taken off the protective plastic off the pick guard yet. Just itching to play it. Took one strum on the strings and you could feel the sustain going through my mid section incredible.

That is a killer guitar - both playing and looking! I am more partial to when they didn't have pickguards. That said, it is still sweet looking!

Just finished playing it for the first time for one and a half hours, you just don't want to put it down. I like low action, but after playing it I'm not sure if I will or not change it.

Agreed. Got one of the old ones. SSS with Rosewood board.

Small photo so as not to take away from Godin15's new toy photos.
