Just finished this on Friday; put a pair of Alnico II in there. Sadly I can't get a better picture due to the massive amount of glare.

                Re: Seymourized

I've posted this one loads of times, but whatever; it's the only one of mine that is fully Seymourized - SSL2 x 2, 59/C. I added a 5th spring to the trem last week and was surprised at how much of a difference it made going from 4.

Partially Seymourized - 59/Jazz. Yes, I play only R rated riffs on it. First time I did so, I was shocked by the unspeakable things people were doing in response to the music (think Dothraki style wedding), so I had to put the disclaimer on the guitar.

                  Ibanez RGD2120...

... 59/Custom (B) + Pearly Gates neck. The PG surprised me- did well for detuned stuff.

.... it's not about the price, it's about getting good tones & the Custom Custom gave me just that.

My latest Seymourization episode- Ibanez FR420

                      Bridge: Screamin' Demon
                      Neck: Distortion

The Demon is perhaps my fav pickup in an ash body.

I'm not into Gibson pickups. Had a Custom 5 in the bridge of my LP BFG, kept the default neck because it doesn't sound as muddy expected.

^^ You've got some nice axes, man. Love the Gio and FR (ash body, yeah?). The colour of the LP is pretty cool as well; I see you got rid of those dorky wooden knobs .

Hey mate, thanks for the compliments- the guitars I own are non-elitist (if there is such a category to begin with) models, largely appealing to me personally more than anything else. Yes, the BFG wooden knobs were done away with, so was the kill switch- didn't help me with anything. So I had a traditional 2 vol + 2 tone LP controls which work so well for me, I wouldn't want anything else.

I see you got some wicked, discontinued Ibanez guitars there. I regret not buying more of them back then... *sigh*
