I contacted the guys at Catalinbread and explained what I was looking for, they replied quickly and the DLS won't do what I'm looking for. The search continues.Hard Rock - gain on 5 - singing about good times.
Heavy Metal - gain on 10 - screaming about something.

That Muff sounds like crap for 80's. The only thing even half decent was the guy with the Telecaster! And even there he had to dial it in carefully.
