  • Acoustic B20 Amp

What do you think about $50 for a used Acoustic B20 amp? It's 20 watts with a 12 inch speaker. I have looked around and I don't see many decent low wattage bass amps with speakers larger than 8 inches.

$50? Not bad. I think they sold new for about a Benjamin. If it's in good shape, go for it. It won't shake the roof, but it's fun for practice.

That's what I see also. Practice bass amps aren't going to get any bigger. Gigging amps start at dual 10", then single 12".

Define 'practice'. To me, most practice amps are single 10s. I generally don't think much of the 'new' Acoustics quality, but it's a practice amp.

And hey, for 50 bucks, if it ends up not working out for you, you can resell or trade and pretty much get your money back.
