  • High gain amp with Vintage cleans?

I honestly have no idea if an amp like this even exists, but I like high gain metal and punk rock yet at the same time I like great cleans that fenders and egnaters have. Unfortunately, high gain amps have lame clean channels and vintage amps are not high gain. I always thought of the idea of getting a vintage amp then getting a high gain pedal but pedals are such hit and miss.

This. Falcon or Andromeda. You can spec out your voicings how you want. All of his amps have a vintage vibe to the sound but get EXTREMELY hi-gain as well. Stoner/doom fodder though, not djenty.

Engl amps (at least the 2+ channel models) consistently have really nice almost fenderish clean channels. Gorgeous low-mid gain sounds too. Worth the money.

Check out the Mesa Express line. The clean channel is quite (though not extremely) clean, and the highest gain channel is quite (though not extremely) high gain. And they also have multiple power settings, which is great. Also, built in foot switchable graphic e.q. and foot switchable flat-e.q. boost. Great, full featured, affordable (in Mesa terms, anyhow). And they have the seemingly elusive combination of extreme versatility and extreme user friendliness. I.e. they can do almost any tone you want, yet they are very easy to dial in.

Yes! Particularly the Mark series (IV and V). My Triaxis/2:90 gets wonderful cleans too and head crushing high gain and everything in between.
