  • Custom Wah Pedal Mods

I thought I'd take a second to tell you guys about the awesome work and excellent service I received a few months back from 'The Wah Doctor' he took my old Dunlop standand GCB95 and completely transformed it, I was never a fan of wah pedals as I always found them too harsh are my liking and hated what they did to my tone (infact the only one I could stand was an Ibanez WH10), but now I can't get enough of it! He's also come up with the unique idea of fitting light bases to show the wah pedal is activated, which not only is a massively handy tool on stage instead of ducking around trying to see a barely visible LED, but I think looks really nice! My pedal had the following modifications:

    - True Bypassing
    - Vocal Mod
    - Sweep mod
    - Light Base
    - Complete Custom Paint
    - Clear Perspex Top Plate fitted

Like I said I couldn't be happier with the results, I have an all out custom way for my needs, and I would highly recommend him to absolutely everyone who wants a wah pedal fixing up. I've included photos from the doc's page showing every step that went into this pedal and the finished results, he was also in frequent contact throughout the process and talked me through almost every step he made, and even continued to after to make sure I was perfectly happy with the pedal!

I'd like to add that I have no connection to the doc, I'm just a happy customer trying to spread the word of a great business!

Holy crap, that's amazing. If you don't mind me asking, what did that run you? I'd love a wah like that.

The whole job was £160 + shipping, which for me was only alittle more than I'd of been looking to pay for JC95 I was looking at around that time, with no where near as many tonal options (and which didn't look anywhere near as nice in my opinion) I'm really happy with how it's turned out and the work that has been done to it, I'd recommend this guy to anyone now!
