  • Late 90s Phase 90

Ok so I found this in my closet the 9 volt battery was dead . I want to put it on my pedal board but it has a different power thingy

Instead of the Boss style center pin it has what looks like a tip sleeve type

I have some center pin jacks to replace it with but I need to know what the original was so I can make the conversion or get the right adaptor

For 4 bucks you can get a short adapter cable that adapts the 1/8" input jack to the Boss-type barrel plug jack. A couple of companies make them. Easier than modding the pedal. I have about 5 of them for my old pedals with that type of adapter jack.

I would look into polarity as well. Give MXR a shout, their usually pretty good at helping out with this sort of stuff. If its not super complicated I would go with converting it.

        Get this: LINK

Be sure to pay attention to the description. There is another one just like it that is for Line6 pedals. Do not get that one.

Polarity won't be an issue with the one I linked to. I have 3 of them and they work fine with older MXR pedals with the 1/8" jack.

The Voodoo Lab one is what you need when plugging in to a power brick and the Visual Sound one is what you need when using a power daisy chain.
