Hand-crafted electric guitar pickups, acoustic guitar pickups, bass pickups and pedals. Helping musicians find their signature sound since 1976.

The last line of the product's verbatim says, and I quote: "Also available in calibrated neck and bridge sets for $300".

So, a '78 neck p'up's been available since... forever?

Eddie's style directly influenced a whole decade's worth of guitar players. And builders.

One thing that's tough with not having been interested in a genre of music, or even alive, when it was happening, is you can't be sure who influenced who since there's so much timing and context you can't get back, so we just have to take other people's word for it when then they Tony Iommi or Ritchie Blackmore was the first to think up a certain style of music. I can listen to them now and think, sounds like all the rest, without being able to appreciate how they made it cool before it become cliche. I worry that's how younger people see Nirvana since the remainder of 90's was one band after another copying their vibe, their clothes and hair styles.

I'd forgotten about the calibrated neck pickup entirely. And instead of looking it up, I decided I knew what I didn't know and made myself look like a doofus.

The "Nuremberg Trials" end tomorrow, by next week a decision will be made about who stays and who goes.

Thinking about it, the following quote from "Game Of Thrones" comes to mind: Jon Snow saying: "Winter is coming..."

No worries. I didn't know either...

Has anyone said more Parallel Axis stuff for production? Every single one of those pickups sound awesome; one or two more voicings wouldn't hurt and would be pretty cool.
