Here's the latest (final?) iteration of my board:

i don't get why so many pedals have to have jacks on sides. Having them at the back is so much cleaner and space saving.

Very nice. I guess you get dirt mostly from the amp?

Also, there is no such thing as a final pedalboard.

Yes, I do. I don't have much interest on od/dist pedals.

I did put a question mark there on purpose. For the time being I have nothing I'd like to change or add so hence the "final".

at what point do you break a board into two or even three boards?

                    Here's my latest update:

I replaced my trusty DD-3 and Mooer Ana Echo with the Grand Canyon. Shrinking the Pitchblack tuner down to the "mini" version allowed me to squeeze in one more gain pedal, the DIY Stratoblaster in the industrial black box. The old deck had been through too many iterations, so I made a new one in shiny silver hammertone.

It's from a 1970-vintage General Electric 25 HP DC drive. I recently engineering the replacement of the ancient analog drive with a modern digital one for a paper-mill customer. I absconded with three of the knobs before the old drive went in the dumpster.

I have one knob left, but the machine still has several drives in need of replacement. If the customer decides to spring for new ones this year, I'll make sure I rescue ALL the knobs at the project's end. They are really cool for 1-knob boost pedals.

You gotta love a big hunk of metal with the numbers cast into it. These days, we just type numbers into a screen instead of turning knobs.

He's the pedal board I built today with embedded power distribution. this one is for the other guitarist in my band. We do a lot of fly with our guitars and pedals and have backline provided so small is good

I have 2 mini boards -one at the amp for mostly full time effects, and one at Stage front for switching. I don't dig the big boards mostly anyways -but I like looking at all ya'llz crazy giant shoulder killing ones.

Will it, following the recent thread on the topic, feature a chorus pedal?
