Got one of these in black, 53mm spacing (F spacing), plenty of lead left. In fine shape, no issues.
I'd say the sound and feel is different than the SD and Dimarzio pickup line - very midrange focused, hot and pretty tight. Maybe more woody sounding too. If you've tried all the usual suspects then this one will be something different...
