Looks like my parents might be getting me a Blackstar HT5R head for me for Christmas/Birthday. This means I'm probably going to need a decent Cabnet.
Since the 5 watt head is a tad on the weak side for a small amp, I was thinking I could boost its volume capabilities by going for a stereo 2x12 vs 1x12. This way I can run it with only one speaker for bedroom levels and small gigs, yet can also handle theater sized things with the school orchestra or band.
Would this work well?
