    PRICE DROP!

I have a brand new set of Dave Mustaine Live Wire active humbucker pickups for sale.

Based on the awesome JB and Jazz combo, the Live Wires deliver more punch, more clarity and totally quiet operation. These are the most dynamic, passive-like actives on the market!

New in box, comes with everything to install (pots, battery connector, output jack, etc)

    Just $150 shipped (U.S. Only)

I wish I were in the place to buy them. Don't guess you wanna offset some cost with a trade?

I'm not in the market for much at the moment other than a Yamaha THR10X

I have a Schecter Blackjack that has the 5 way switch that splits the pickups in pos 2 and 4. Could these pickups be wired to take advantage of that?

          Sorry, just saw this.

Unfortunately, no...each pickup only has 3 wires: ground, signal and power (9V)

While the Live Wires can certainly be wired to a 5-way switch, only 3 of the positions will be functional.

OK, just wondering because I know some actives can be split.

I believe the only actives on the market that can be coil split are the EMG 81TW and 89 (and neither of those sound all that great)
