I'm running out of space. What are alternatives to sound cloud to just share licks, demos, and tracks of original music or etc? I use youtube btw but making videos are a chore.

Re: alternatives to soundcloud
I think Soundclick is still around, and they had good fidelity playback for most things.sigpic

Re: alternatives to soundcloud
I made a 2nd Soundcloud. Or just pay for more space. Soundcloud is great for embedding, and great for sharing links.Administrator of the SDUGF

Re: alternatives to soundcloud
Making a second profile never hurts. Also, it is cool to support them as they provide great streaming service. I would also consider Bandcamp with its virtually unlimited uploads but note that it rather fits full albums, EPs and such where people can still donate you directly if they like, even if the actual release is free.Last edited by NecroPolo; 09-05-2016, 05:20 PM.

Yes I think you should make a second Soundcloud account to not miss out on the great opportunity of using Soundcloud. I think everyone should be able to utilize that great resource. I havent been able to find any reasonable alternatives that are comparable in traffic and uniqueness.

Soundclick is quite comparable, and doesn't place as many limits on your uploads.Join me in the fight against muscular atrophy!

Re: alternatives to soundcloud
I just keep deleting older stuff. If I were more serious about what I upload, I suppose that I wouldn't mind paying for the service. In the meantime, it's entirely possible that someone, sometime, downloaded one of my earlier (since deleted) tracks and it still lives on in the digital ether.
