Sure it does. The violin ribs.

Re: Pointy basses that aren't horrible

The cuts/ribs on a Violin-shaped bass do not count as points by any stretch of the imagination. They either have to be on the outer edges of the body (where the strap pins go, or where the output jack is, or on the treble side of the neck, closer to the frets than the bridge) or at the headstock.

And no, the Gibson LP/SG "book" style headstock do not count as "pointy". Neither does the PRS headstock, though I bet you could flatten a tire with it.
In this modern age, neither the Gibson Explorer/Hamer Standard nor Gibson's original Flying V shapes count as "pointy" - at least not since BC Rich, Jackson, and Neal Moser redefined "pointy" some years ago. Some of those things look like you'd put an eye out just tuning up.

          Pointy today is defined by:
          Jackson Rhoads
          Jackson King V
          Jackson Warrior
          Jackson Kelly
          BC Rich Warlock
          BC Rich Bich
          BC Rich Ironbird
          BC Rich Beast/WarBeast
          BC Rich Black Widow
          BC Rich Virgin
          BC Rich Mockingbird
Pretty much anything Neal Moser makes, unless I missed one.

The Gibson SG is still an honorary pointy because it has been an iconic symbol of Black Sabbath and AC/DC for decades, even though many Blues and Jazz players have used it (including Les Paul and Mary Ford).

(The BC Rich Stealth and Eagle were left off intentionally because the Stealth had rounded tips, and the Eagle only had the Mockingbird's top horn, and was used by Neil Geraldo with Pat Benetar).

I would buy that in a heartbeat. Especially with that pickup configuration and bridge.
And I'd wire it up with a 5 way
                Neck pickup
                Outside coils in series
                Both pickups
                Inside coils in parallel
                Bridge pickup
That would be after I swapped the stock pups for Q-Pounders.
