  • Any of Y'all Gents Try An A3 in a PGn?

I've got a Pearly Gates neck in my HH Telecaster copy and it's a tad too "necky". I've been looking to do something about it for a while. Too much bass, not bright enough and this can't be dialed out by my amp or pickup/polepiece height adjustments. It could use a bit of a thinning out is what I'm trying to say. Has anyone here tried an A3 in a PGn? What were the results?

That should definitely be a step in the direction that you want

Yes A3 is great. Turning the pickup around with screws nearest the bridge helps also.

Just take the screws out of the coil, you'll be surprised how good it sounds
