lmao I remember trying to get this going a decade or so ago. Count me in when I rebuild my studio.

Yeah, as a matter of fact I'm pretty sure the thread still exists, started 2008. It's a sticky at the top still.

Yeah, you never came up with a backing track to work with.

Yes, back in 2012, we participated .
In 2015 we started discussing doing another one at your suggestion . It never went any further.

Got one whipped up after about 45mins of goofing. Tried to do bit theme parts, but occasional noodling slips in.

Bridge pickup 1st part, neck pickup 2nd part.

Good stuff LLL, and great tone. Loved some of the phrasing you had going on too.

Hey thanks! You're not too shabby yourself, Speedy Gonzales.

You've got a great warm tone with just a touch of delay that sits in the mix perfectly.

Okay, here's my humble contribution to the collective pot. First off -- GREAT backing track, I tried to outline the chords when I could and was able to sneak in a little modulation to G towards the end. Was really hoping to capitalize on that F chord, but couldn't find anything that I liked. I went for a classic, dual guitar approach as this backing track reminded me a LOT of The Scorpions. Secondly -- you guys really raised the bar! So many great ideas in all of these solos and I was struggling to put my own stamp on it. Anyway, enough excuses.

Fantastic. And another unique take on it for sure. I like how you ran with the Scorpions theme and did the dual guitar thing...making me wish I threw some harmonies in mine haha.
