I opened my bass case to see that my brass saddles were kinda solid oxidation and yick and the chrome was looking hazy and gross again, seeing as the last time I polished anything on it was about 3 years ago and it rarely gets to see sunlight.
So I get the idea that maybe I should attack it with a wire wheel and take the crud off of it, and within a few seconds I knew exactly what I was going to do. After I took all the rust off and made them shine, I decided to hit them with mag polish and a polishing bit followed by cleaner wax on the bit. I think I went a bit overboard because I've never seen factory brass saddles shine like that. Not really sure if they'll hold up and stay that shiny but they sure look nice right now.
