I just got an Ashdown MAG 220 combo and it has a DI on the back. It's a 1/4" jack instead of a XLR. I plugged it into my Focusrite 2i4 with the input set to line and I'm getting a kind of ticking noise the is constant around 240bpm. I tried switching cables and also changing the input to Instrument and I get the same result. Anyone have an idea as to what could be the problem? The signal chain goes Bass->Pedal Board->Amp Input->DI->Interface

Re: Direct Out issue
So I tried the TRS cable from my direct out and plugged each 1/4 mono into its own input and flipped the phase of the second channel and it fixed the issue. Looks like I just need a TRS to XRL since I want to mic with my second channel. Thanks Jeremy
