  • NPD: EHX Battalion. (And thanks to Aceman.)

FedEx just dropped it off. I only messed with it for a few minutes, (because of this nasty cold), but it sounds sweet. It'll take some time to dial in the distortion side. I'm hoping to get that Beatles "Think for Yourself" grind.

And thanks Aceman for asking about this in another thread. I wouldn't have known it existed otherwise.

    Well Artie, you are welcome!

My "Imaginary" awesome bass rig is a DI that has:

EQ, Distortion, and compression all in one. This is it - at a great price.

Yup. And also, one reviewer, on Sweetwater, states that the XLR output is only the "dry" signal. That is incorrect, but not his fault. The instructions are ambiguous and the controls are somewhat counter-intuitive. The "bypass" switch on the side is in the bypass mode when it's out. When "in", it reverts bypass control to the top bypass switch. So, side-bypass "in", and top bypass not engaged equals "wet" output to the XLR.

Thanks Trey. I'm going to play with it with guitar also. Could be fun.
