  • Warmer hum-cancelling bridge strat pup?

Been thinking about a different bridge pickup for my G&L Legacy. At the moment, it's got a Lil' Screamin' Demon which I do like, but sometimes I want it to be a little darker/warmer sounding. It's matched up with a couple of CS Quarter Pounds which I'm loving. I just want something with slightly more low end, less scooped mids, softer treble (I guess more balance EQ-wise between lows/mids/highs), maybe around the same or a tiny bit more output than the Demon. Duncan or DiMarzio preferred. What am I looking for here?

lil 59 would be my first suggestion if you want a bucker tonality, hot stack + if you want a little single coil flavor

Definitely looking for more of a bucker tonality.

I love the hot rail bridge. It's a much better tone then the 59, For me the hotrail nails it.

Hmmm. I thought about the Hot Rails, but thought it might be too much output.
And the Lil '59 seems like it might be slightly lower output than the Lil Demon according to the tone chart. Is that the case?

Maybe the new Red Devil might do the trick.

A neck Hot Rails in the bridge fixes the issues most have with a Hot Rails.

Oooh, Hot Rails neck in bridge is an interesting idea.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys.

A Tone Zone S fits eq-wise, but likely too high output.
                      Maybe look at the Chopper.

The Tone Zone S looks like a good contender. Always liked the full size humbucker. The QPs are high output singles, so I guess a little higher output in the bridge wouldn't be bad.
