I had custom made 10k awg 42 with a standard A5: i wanted a PAF pushed to the limits, but it was a bit bland. Then i tried a ceramic and a A8, both did not score with too much mids. Than the winder sent me a double thick A5, which i liked best: hot, still brite, slightly scooped and a nice growl.

I get the feeling the A8 will blow your skirt up more so - Edgecrusher
