  • HELP!

I have recently bought a Seymour Duncan STC-BO2 concentric tone control. I'm trying to connect it to a passive pickup with no success...

I've followed the schematic and which ever way I wire it, it doesn't work.

The pickup works independently, the circuit works independently but, not together.

    What am I doing wrong..?
Anything is possible, just not always advisable...

When the battery is fitted, I get pitch-shiftable noises showing that the circuit at least does half of what it should. Nothing from the pick up though.

It is a Seymour Duncan Hot Stack Black Cap (20.8k) and has humbucker wiring.

            need the color codes.

Is there a red from the Hot stacks from one coil tied to ground and the other coil (white)? That's probably the problem.

No, red and white are together as normal. The picture doesn't show that, though.
