  • Guitar-specific space

How many of you guys have a space or a room specifically set aside in your home for guitars/music?

I'd love to see your setups.

To start the party, here's mine.

This is supposed to be my "clean room" which is built into my workshop..

keeping it clean however is a task a little beyond my limited capabilities..

I consider myself to be a VERY lucky man because Mrs BriGuy thinks the guitars look cool and allows me to display them all over the house!

You have seen this room before. There are some new occupants, but they belong to a buddy of mine.

I'll have to get some pics of the other half of this room. The guitar rack was behind me when I took this pic.

I’ve moved back into the parents house to save up for a new home, so all my guitars reside in a small corner in lower level of the house. Cant wait to get back into my own house where I get a whole room dedicated to my “stuff”

I don't really have a specific area...the whole house has music gear spread throughout it.

                        Re: Guitar-specific space

I'm kinda like Dave...I've got three guitars locked in display cases in the living-dining room, a half dozen in our computer/work room, about a dozen hanging on the walls of the guest bedroom, and the bulk of them in my music room with my amps and repair bench. There are also always a few in the garage constantly under some stage of development. It's a 3 car garage but we can barely fit one small car in it...the rest of it is my workshop. Pretty soon my wife and I will have to camp out in the back yard because my guitars will be taking over the master bedroom as well. Either that or we'll have to move to a larger house...larger than 3500 sq ft. The irony is that my wife keeps saying that we need to move to a smaller, less expensive home.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

I've always got one or two guitars in my living room and my band rehearsal space in in my finished basement. Usually, I just go down there and practice with our normal stage setup.

Thankfully my wife likes the guitars hanging on the wall, so I have this corner of the living room.
