Link Wry started the broken speaker distortion with the song rumble

Re: who invented heavy metal
You know a lot of people don’t know this but it was actually invited by Nikolai Tesla & then subsequently stolen by the CIA upon his death....
Personally I think he was channeling aliens & the ghost of Gorge Washington at the time he did this but nobody knows for sure & it’s a topic of great debate. Mostly because it’s also possible that he could have been talking to the devil & channeling the ghost of Marry Queen Of Scott’s instead???I live in Northern New Hampshire, we shoot the things we don't understand here???

Re: who invented heavy metal
I've always figured it was mostly Led Zeppelin. The Immigrant Song, Kashmir, Heartbreaker, When the Levee Breaks, Black Dog, Communications Breakdown . . . these all kinda paved the way for metal to come. Dark sounding, intricate guitar playing, heavy riffing.Join me in the fight against muscular atrophy!

Re: who invented heavy metal
More proof for Blue Cheer. Please note that Clapton even said Blue Cheer was the first metal band. Think he would know?aka Chris Pile, formerly of Six String Fever
