    Was it a hard piece to find? Or was it just what was around? Or what? What tonality does that brand of Spruce impart. Looks like a super tight grain???

      I get a lot of spruce from Alaska,
      The guys there are really good,
      Yeah, very tight grain, and even..the tap tone was also very musical..it all helps

        Looks gorgeous and I've been impressed by the tone of the Myrtle guitars I've played. The subtle flame across the tight grain of the top looks amazing as well.
