If you have a large bank account than maybe a Friedman. He just copied Marshall who copy this person who copied that person etc.

Or just build a Friedman, the schematic’s are out there if you look.

Plenty of people modding Marshalls, but no one nailed it as Dave did. If it were that easy, where are all the amps Dave copied?

Find the schematics of his amps and there will be your answer.

This is not a criticism of him in any way, everyone takes a little from someone before them, be it music, guitars or amps.

Edit: And just to clarify, I am not saying his are 100% copies as well know he added his own touch to them.
