I have a Silver Lake and a Dark Sun pedal on my board - both of them take 9v-18v. They certainly work and sound great on 9v. Just curious if there is anything to be gained by running them on 18v regulated supplies vs just standard 9v.

Re: any advantage to 18v vs 9v?
Some pedals are designed to gain extra headroom or a deeper effect with 18 volts. If your pedal supports it, it's worth trying it out.Join me in the fight against muscular atrophy!

I'd say it is worth trying, but I was always satisfied with the 9v operation, so I never bothered with a higher voltage.Administrator of the SDUGF
