This is pretty cool. I have an early 80s Crybaby, and that wasn't the best era for them. Despite changing the pot over the years, it is noisy, and hisses, and has no DC adapter jack. I was thinking of scrapping the insides and re-building the whole thing. This mod has me thinking about that again.

Do the other common mods to your pedal Dave...Change the 33k resistor to the inductor to a 68k or 100k or use a 100k pot and vary the values from 33k to 100k....Increase the 1.5k mid resistor to like 2.2k...Change the inductor to a Whipple or maybe the red fasel? These mods have been around forever and they work...I went with a Chase Tone pot and it's really good.

Increase the gain and bass of the wah by lowering the 390 ohm gain resistor to Q1 to like 330 ohm....Replace the stock transistors with BC 109s....Etc...

I can show you guys how to wire up a variable gain pot and for the Q.....Or you can use a 1k trim pot for the gain and a 100k for the Q..... Wahs are fun and easy to work on.
