Not *that* long. I was looking at Ola England’s amp on there around the time it was discontinued, maybe a month or so ago.

Companies don't just pull their site for a new one there is a transition. Something tells me there was some kind of battle with one of their web vendors (Magento, Shopify, AWS) and the vendor won.

I work with top retailers with their web experiences. When they are changing their websites even if it is a complete platforming of the site and total overhaul the new site is staged and the old site stays up until the switch is made. The only reason I have seen a retailer's site down is a.) there was some kind of catastrophic technology failure, (i.ei. a hack, corrupted servers) b.) they were in a pissing contest with a vendor and it came down to "we will just cancel and not use your technology". If it was "b" and they were not planning on a transition to another technology the result you are seeing on their website is what you should be seeing.

I would also imagine with their site being down during the biggest holiday period in the year heads are rolling and people are being fired.

Oh, I thought you were talking about a different kind of vendor. Your way makes more sense.

Is it possible that the corporate overlords want to kill the brand?

Neither do I, but it's a resource to be used if someone wants an answer. It has a phone number, or are people too lazy to actually talk anymore?
